CALAMUS DOSAGE

A pack of calamus contains 80 grams of powder. For a clear, uplifting effect: mix 1 tablespoon in a cup of hot water and drink this on an empty stomach. Strain and drink a couple of cups. For a mind-expanding effect: raise the dosage as required.

CALAMUS ACTIVE COMPOUNDS

Calamus root contains high levels of essential oil with decadienal, caryophyllene, humulene, curcumene, and beta-asarone – this latter being the primary inebriating component. Additional active chemicals found in the essential oil are methyl isoeugenol and cyclohexMACAanone.
